With her frozen grin flashing across the House floor, Nancy Pelosi celebrated a late-night vote to pass the most onerous and oppressive governmental legislation in American History. Likening passage of this bill to the enactment of Social Security and Medicare, Pelosi’s dreams of grandeur are destined to be short-lived.

With both Social Security and Medicare facing insolvency, and funding for the Healthcare Reform Act made up partly of monies siphoned away from Medicare as well as incoming tax revenues, the pay-as-you go model is an enormous governmental ponzi scheme doomed to failure.

Looming insolvency is only part of the insult of these healthcare proposals. There is also the threat of fines and JAIL TIME for US citizens who do not want to purchase an ‘acceptable’ health insurance policy. Who decides what is acceptable? The IRS will be interpreting the legislation and enforcing compliance. So, why did we need to give the IRS another stick to beat the American Taxpayer with?

What the hell is wrong with you people? How is that in the interest of the economy, liberty, or promoting individual rights? How is this about ANYTHING other than governmental control of the populace? Who ever wants to talk to the IRS or have them involved in their business or their lives? When IRS government employees give WRONG ADVICE 50% of the time to taxpayers who call or come in for help, why should they be given more responsibility over our lives?

The ONLY thing government has ever done well is the military and even at that, they have been caught in enormous waste and abuse of taxpayer dollars. The vote last Saturday was another nail in the coffin of our freedoms, if Harry Reid pushes the senate bill through on a procedural motion, meaning 51 votes rather than the 60 necessary to break a filibuster, then the nation should explode with indignation.

Tea Parties, Townhall protests, the 9/12 March on Washington, and EVERY independent poll shows that a majority of Americans do not want this reform in its current incarnation have had no effect on Democrats in Washington, DC. The true believers of the progressive movement are willing to force this police state on us in the area of our health. Because, of course, they know what is best for us, whether we want it or not.

This morning on the Glenn Beck Radio Show, Michelle Bachmann (R) MN, asked Americans to show up in DC

on Thursday to demand to meet with their representatives and block passage of the new Healthcare monstrosity introduced by Nancy Pelosi last Thursday.

Appropriately released on the week of Halloween, this Frankenstein bill is a hybrid of the three House bills already introduced and debated previously. Stunningly, this hybrid bill retains the most controversial of the provisions which were argued over and stripped from the senate versions.

The true insult to Americans is the inclusion of the worst parts of the bill, such as mandatory coverage, public option, and end-of-life counseling. Yes, Sarah Palin’s DEATH PANELS have survived, ironically, since this was the provision that created national outrage and rocked the townhalls as Americans began to realize how bad these healthcare bills are. The public option is no longer on life support, but alive and thriving in HR3962.

After the uproar over the over 1000-page bills pushed out of Congress last session, Pelosi and House Democrats are doubling-down with an almost 2000-page bill to further piss off the American public. This bill will be voted on this week and sent to the Senate, where many expect Harry Reid (D) NV, to use the nuclear option to pass it on a 51-vote majority.

This Thursday, November 5, 2009, Bachmann has called all concerned Americans to arrive in Washington to express opposition to this egregious bill. We’ll see how many are able to make the trip, leaving work and home obligations in the middle of the week to go.

Here’s an endearing video of proponents of healthcare receiving their detailed instructions on how to refute those who are concerned about HR3200 and the companion bill to be presented in the Senate. Notice how this activist gives reasoned responses to the questions and complaints of the voters.

Oh, wait….. they don’t have any, that’s right! And what response they do give is proven to be lying propaganda when you read the bill that this Congress has actually passed. Oh, and did you hear how Charlie Rangel, Democrat tax-cheat from New York,  slipped a provision to harshly punish tax cheaters and those who made inadvertent mistakes into the HEALTH CARE BILL???

This Do-As-I-Legislate-Not-As-I-Do Congress and President have chafed the average American so raw in the area of liberty and freedoms that there is outright rebellion brewing at the townhalls and tea parties. Between Harry Reid refusing to face the voters in his own state by holding open meetings, and calling those who are trying desperately to get his attention on the important issues ‘evil-mongers,’ he is hand-crafting his opponent’s campaign for 2010.

The tactics that the current leadership have undertaken to force acceptance of have been thuggish and reflect a racketeering mindset. To smear your opposition with lies and name-calling without the facts and evidence to support your wild claims is not an honest argument. Nor is it good governance. We have an incredible dearth of principled leadership in America today. Everything has become about accomplishing your goals and the goals of your party, and no one stops to ask if these goals are in the best interest of the nation.

I contend that if Harry, Nancy, and Barak want to live in an EU-styled semi-socialist to a statist nation, that they move to Venezuela or to France and go nuts! Why we need to ruin the freest, most-prosperous nation in history that has spawned hope and democracy around the world is beyond me.

I say, send them all home in 2-4 years and repeal everything that has happened in the last 20 years. Then, we tell the new batch that for every new law, they have to repeal an old one. For every new spending initiative, they have to cancel and old one, and so on. No new layers of regulation and bureaucracy, we are too far under the thumb of government already, and it’s time to start getting out.

Stimulating the economy, adding to the debt, AND screwing up the environment with a huge-carbon-footprint purchase of three, yes, three, passenger jets for their own private purposes. Congress, gotta love them.

These same blow-hards excoriated the auto execs for flying down to DC in their corporate jets to ask for bailouts, and made them out to be money-wasting, environment-polluting, crappy businessmen-capitalist pigs. They dragged them through humiliation on national television in congressional hearings and wouldn’t help them out until they drove to DC from detroit in a hybrid. They even suggested they carpool!

But for themselves? Oh, well, that’s a completely different story! You see, the Congress performs the People’s Business, unlike greedy Capitalists who are motivated by profit. Yes, they are all our equals, but of course, some of us are more equal than others, and Congress? Well, they are more equal than us. Or private business.

So when appropriations wanted to buy ONE jet for military and high-level Executive branch officials as well as members of Congress, they tripled-down and ordered three instead of one. That would most likely cut way down on the waiting time to use and ease up the scheduling, you know?

Of course, we know that Nancy Pelosi wasn’t involved in this, because she commandeers her own plane as Speaker of The People’s House. It is another huge case of Do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do hypocrisy.

Like the healthcare plan they want to force on us, but have exempted themselves from…….  Hello?
